Last weekend (20th, 21st and 22nd of September) the 5th edition of Salão Auto de Braga was visited by around 9 thousand people. Among professionals, hobbyists, curious and whole families, they were able to appreciate on display 25 brands from the automobile segment, spread over 10,000 sqm inside and outside Altice Forum Braga. The event opened on Friday, September 20, by Ricardo Rio, Mayor of Braga and President of InvestBraga, together with Carlos Silva, Executive Administrator of InvestBraga, accompanied by several guests.
The Braga Motor Show is an annual fair, with a place marked in the Pavilion and Exterior of Altice Forum Braga for 5 editions, in which the component of publicity, business and leisure through various activities is added in a single weekend.
The presence of the only example in Portugal of McLaren Senna and a karting track for children were some of the attractions of the event. Also, to highlight some activities that took place in those 3 days that came to animate the event. Thus, and in terms of disseminating and debating important issues in the sector, the “Conversations with ARAN” took place, which oversaw the National Automobile Branch Association, which took place on Saturday morning.
With the support of Clube Automóvel Antigo e Clássico de Braga, Bicavalaria do Minho (Citroen 2 Cv) and Clube Mini de Braga, visitors were offered the chance to see the largest concentration of classic vehicles ever held at the Salão Auto, as well how to watch the end of a concentration of classic cars at the Main Entrance of Altice Forum Braga.
Also, Clube Slot de Braga joined the event organizing the 1st Classic Slot Car Tour and the 1st Rally Slot de Braga, which constituted one of the stages of the regional championship of the modality, with the presence of a competitor from Spain.
The Salão Auto de Braga will return in 2020 with its 6th edition and already scheduled for September 18, 19 and 20, 2020.
