Altice Forum Braga is nominated for the "Congress Venue” award from the Publituris Portugal Trade Awards 2019. The vote, which covers several categories, starts today and runs until March 15th. The winners will be revealed on March 21. Voting can be done HERE.
April 2018 marked the opening of the doors of this unmissable space in Braga, with two days of free entry, marked by the visit of more than five thousand people from Braga. In September the official inauguration took place, uphelded by the Portuguese Republic President, Professor Doctor Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, and enhanced by the performance of the renowned American band Thirty Seconds to Mars, which brought together more than ten thousand people and marked a point of no return in this still short story. From now on, it is possible for Braga and the northern region of the country to receive large-scale initiatives.
In December 2018, just seven months after opening its doors, Altice Forum Braga reached 100 events and 200 thousand visitors, numbers that attest the success of this infrastructure and the new dynamic it brought to the City. Altice Forum Braga was totally renovated in 2018 and is today a modern and state-of-the-art space, qualified to host the best national and international events and with the capacity to host up to 20 thousand people.
Managed by InvestBraga and located in the center of Braga, Altice Forum Braga has the second largest concert hall in the country, with a capacity for 12,000 people, and the largest auditorium in the North, with more than 1430 seats. It is also composed of several complementary spaces, such as an art gallery, Forum Art Braga, restaurant and self-service space, cafeteria, 250-seat auditorium and configurations for up to 12 meeting rooms up to 450 seats, and an extensive area 26 thousand sqm and 650 parking spaces.
Altice Forum Braga is a differentiating and multipurpose space, which aims to put Braga on the radar of major national and international events and tourism business. Its versatility allows it to host from fairs and congresses, to exhibitions and shows.
The nominees for the Publituris Portugal Trade Awards 2019 were chosen by the newspaper's editorial staff, which focuses on professional and independent economic information for professionals in the Tourism industry. The selection of the winners results from a weighted average between the votes of the subscribers to the Publituris newsletter (40%) and the votes of the Jury (60%) and the award ceremony is scheduled for next March 21st.
