ROBBEN FORD is one of the leading electric guitarists of today. An American blues and jazz fusion guitarist, known for his exceptional technical skill and musical style, Ford has become an influential figure in the music world. He is admired for his ability to blend virtuosic techniques with deep emotional sensitivity in his performances.
Robben Ford has been nominated for the Grammys five times and has played with a wide range of artists such as Joni Mitchell, Jimmy Witherspoon, Miles Davis, George Harrison, Phil Lesh, Bonnie Raitt, Michael McDonald, Bob Dylan, John Mayall, Greg Allman, John Scofield, Susan Tedeschi, Keb Mo, Larry Carlton, Mavis Staples, Brad Paisley, and many others.
Over decades of his career, Robben Ford has released critically acclaimed albums, collaborated with a variety of artists, and continued to inspire musicians around the world with his unique talent and passion for music.
Born in 1951, Robben Ford began his career as a studio musician, working with artists like Joni Mitchell and George Harrison before embarking on a successful solo career.
An important and essential component of Robben Ford's career is his commitment to teaching and passing on what he has learned over the past 40 years to current and future musicians. His instructional videos and clinics over this time have culminated in the creation of the Robben Ford Guitar Dojo. The wealth of his experience and creativity is generously presented in these state-of-the-art productions and will continue to be in the years to come.
